Here are the details!

Okay-- so looks like the ball is getting ready to roll. So far we have 5 "designers" up to the challenge, and 3 volunteer judges. But we need more of both! So, all of you who are reading this, Pimp this Challenge Seamstresses, Costumers, and LJ friends who cannot sew. This will be fun!!!

What? The Livejournal Project Runway Challenge

What is it really? Entrants have a total of 10 hours to complete a garment from scratch that must be fitted to a model, dressform, or themself, with final pictures submitted for judging. *The time limit can be spread out over a period of one week, and we will trust you use the honor system in that reguard. ;) Entrants will be allowed no more than 6 yards of Muslin to work with total. They will be given a budget for notions/accessories that cannot be exceeded. One piece of fabric or trim can be used from your existing stash, but cannot make up more than 1/8 of the final garment. You may work from a pattern, however, there will be some rules to be followed in that capacity.

We will probably start soon, and the 'creative process' time will run for a week--then judging, which of course will be for bragging rights and an uber cool banner that says you are the winner. :)
