I just write a letter to sideshow asking for a book like dressing a galaxy for lotr. please write, I have a feeling that if enough of us do this it might work. (kinda like a petition, I sigend one for a Haldir action figure and now they have two!) ;) heres the address

The problem is the Tolkien estate. I think Jackson and company are amenable to a book, but it is the Tolkein estate that is causing a lot of the problems. They don't want a permanent LotR museum in NZ to showcase costumes and props - and I would wager they are the ones preventing a book. So I don't know that writing to Sideshow will do any good - can't hurt, I suppose.

ever notice its the familys that are the selfish ones? perhaps they don't want to feel money grubbing, but at the same time, you would think they would want people to "celebrate" JRRs life with the lord of the rings. but yes, might not help, but couldn't hurt....

Understandably, I think they're concerned about honoring the original books,...but then, it's pretty commercial already.
I guess it's tough when the bedtime stories you heard as a kid become known all over the world...
