okay some progress in little ways. I adjusted the redhead a little inthe neckline... but I need to replace the zipper, its faulty and makes me feel fat b/c it wont zip unles the fabric around it is foldeded and there is no way it will fold on me so its gotta go. ;p anyways.. here are pics o the finished dress (still need pumps, a choker, roses and fishnets to make it a compleated costume.

also here are dye test on cotton for the coroantion, i will have to re test when I get vevlet but still..... I was going to go for theone on the second right (lower) but then it clashes withthe silk I ave emb on so I will go for the little swatch on the top left (the little darker on pined onthat one is the same dye just longer int he bath. the bit in the middle is the silk I have as the base of the emb) its periwinkel dye and chartruse, about equal parts of each. I think it looks very nice in person.... I can only hope it works on the velvet. but that is a long time in the coming. but flash and w/o flash in that order.

in the pics the middle silk looks more grey then green/blue but that is just how it photographs :( the swatch that is the dye test is the exact color of it, perhaps more green though.. too bad things don't photograph how we see them...

and here are some of the fabrics I have been collectiing for the potc wedding.. not exact but it will work.. I have been aging some of the lacesas well. :) I'm happy witht hem.. a little hand emb on them and they will be perfect IMO for me at least. ;)

without flash with flash ( can see this aas a problem later on but this lace will be coverd with emb and such, you may not notice the refecting.......)
