got the sleeve attached (or at least the hooks in,) had to shorten the sleeve about 6" so big bummer there, due to the fact that I emb and beaded more of the second sleeve, so... blah. but anyway this is definatly a "stand and look pretty dress" (I tried it on) (and I poped off one of the beads so had to repair, I beaded this when i wan't very smart about knotting and broken beads) the sleeve started out being about 6oz now its about 2 lbs. I cut it out to be about 2" below my knee, after beading etc (and with about 6" gone) its about 6" below my knee, so beading is VERY HEAVY! anyways... excues the messy room, my sis (the slob) is currently living in my room and her bed is in the backround.

here (yes very blurry) you can see how I put in the snaps (so I can turn the sleeves insideout to wash) and the hooks and eyes to hold on the sleeves (yes thire detachable!)

(this is where you can see my messy sis's bed) and the not so hidden hooks, so I can wear my dress sleeveless if I want to.

also this dress is a definate winter dress, suprisingly the velvet is the cool part! the sleeves are roasting!

well I did a few clusters, but now thnking about attaching the sleeves I'm trying to come up with a way to make my dress stay on my shoulders better also I'm not so sure I'm likeing my lining so perhaps I'll rip it out later on and line it with smooth fabric (read as slippery, I used thin cotton), but I'll wait to see how it looks tomarrow. so the end is in sight! YAY! thanks all who commented!
