velvet woes

well today, after being sent home from work (yay!) I was playing with the curshing and guess what, ironing it doesn't work, at least for me. but here is what i was doing.... I got it wet, the crumpled it into a ball and ironed the ball, till it was "fried" then I shocked it by putting in in cold air, (to "hold" the crush) here are the pics

well crap. my server crashed. well you get the picture (no pun intended)

anyway, the bad side of this is its not permanant. also its ALOT of work. so in the end, I'm thinking I'm going to age the velvet, (beating time!) and pretend that teh orig is NOT crushed.
